 The Sunflex SVG99/155 is designed as an heavy duty thermally broken aluminium sliding door system, suitable for any environment. Despite its robust construction its elegant edge profile cloaks its muscles for that sleek contemporary look. Its tensile strength and design innovation enables extra large glass panels to slide effortlessly, creating uninterrupted views with minimal sightliness. Supplied specifically to suit your design requirements you can choose which panels slide behind which, have all panels sliding or even go for the extended track option where panels slide behind a parallel wall or into a cavity creating a 100% clear opening. Taking it one step further it is now even possible to have the ability to open up corners completely with a movable post.
Providing excellent thermal qualities that comply with Doc L of the building regulations along with an extensive array of design options the Sunflex SVG99/155 sliding door system is the perfect alternative.
APPEARANCE
The standard available finishes for the SCG99/155 are anodised silver or polyester powder coated to standard White RAL 9016, Grey Aluminium RAL 9007 and Anthracite Grey RAL 7016. Alternatively polyester powder coated to any RAL colour from our chart (over 200 colours) including dual colour (i.e White RAL 9016 internally & Grey RAL 9007 externally) or wood grain effect. In addition you can specify whether a matt, semi gloss or gloss level of paint finish is required. A marine environment finish that is required to doors within 5000m of a shoreline is also available.
Door furniture comes in the standard colours of satin silver or white but can be colour coded to match the doors if required.
PROFILE
The SVG99/155 is manufactured from the highest quality aluminium extrusion, thermally broken with a polyamide insulation bar. Extra large panels can be accommodated with the use of a reinforcing profile added internally and externally to prevent deflection. In the instance of an extra wide panel additional running carriages may be added
Maximum Size Dimensions:
The maximum size dimensions are dependent upon a maximum panel weight limit but can be manufactured up to 2800mm tall and up to 2500mm wide. (Please note panels must not exceed more than 2100mm in more than one direction)
TRACK OPTIONS
Available as a twin track (SVG99 - 99mm front to back) or triple track (SVG155 - 155mm front to back) with 1 to 6 panels in any opening configuration. Both tracks incorporate drainage channels and depending upon the type of floor finish can be recessed into the ground to give a virtually level threshold.
SECURITY
As expected this the SVG99/155 comes as standard with a very high level of security. Designed with an anti lifting device preventing the removal of panels and a thermally broken reinforced interlock between the panels making it impossible to lever them apart or off the track. The SVG also incorporates a 5 point multi point key locking mechanism and 5 lever Euro-profile locking cylinder to comply with the requirements of the Association of British Insurers. Both systems are internally glazed as standard.
WEATHER SEALS
The SVG99/155 is a sever weather rated system (Cat C, BS 6375 Part 1) capable of withstanding the most demanding environments. Each panel is fully rebated with concealed double polypropylene nylon brush strips with a centre fin seal surrounding the perimeter of each panel.
OPERATING SYSTEM
The operating system on both SVG99 & SVG155 systems consists of a double tandem stainless steel bottom running carriage coated with a glass reinforced polyamide which act a lot like a cars suspension, running on a stainless steel guide rail. A hard wearing threshold cover plate protects the track from damage. For the larger systems that require the incorporated strengthening profile, this also doubles as a side pull rail for operating the doors. This system guarantees smooth, effortless operation with long life and reliable performance day in day out.
GLAZING
All glazing should be carried out in accordance with BS6262, the standard unit supplied with the SVG system is 28mm and internally glazed. Guidance will be provided should you be unclear on your requirements.
TRICKLE VENTS
Tickle vents can be incorporated within the head profile. Details can be provided.
DESIGN OPTIONS
Amongst many other options we can customise our sliding door systems with mid rails, mullions, plant on bars, dummy spacer grids, deeper top and bottom profiles and solid infill panels.
