The Sunflex glass sliding turn and stack system can be frameless, offering clear unobstructed panoramic views, or with minimal vertical profile at the panel joints. Creating useable space, it provides protection from the elements and energy savings, as well as exceptional operating performance, with minimum impact on existing architecture.  It's timeless design makes it a perfect solution for all year round use of balconies, terraces or winter gardens, picnic areas and stadium suites or even as internal room dividers, in fact the new SF35 has been designed to comply with Building regulations specifically to go between the house and conservatory making the list of applications is endless.

The first opening panel acts as a single 'pass' door, each individual panel then slides independently, supported by a fully adjustable top rail, back across to the same side to stack.

Appearance

The supporting rails and track as standard can be finished to a Silver anodised or polyester powder coated White RAL 9016, Silver RAL 9006, Grey Aluminium RAL 9007 and Anthracite Grey RAL 7016. Other RAL colours (over 201 RAL colours available) for a nominal charge. In addition you can specify whether a matt, semi gloss or full gloss level is required.

SF25 & SF30 depending on requirements is factory glazed as standard with 6, 8 or 10mm toughened safety glass is located into top and bottom aluminium WS (softline/rounded) edge profiles, utilising an unobtrusive clip system eliminating visible fixings.

SF35 to comply with current building regulations consists of a 20mm double glazed soft coat unit with a argon gas cavity.

The intelligent technical specifications shape the character of this system. The single running track design caters for a wide range of applications. This allows the glass panels to slide from 90 degrees to any angle change up to 180 degrees, including segmented radius curves.

Security

SF25 & SF30 Two point locking with concealed top latching position, operated by a pull cord and bottom bolt , secures the first panel to be opened. Carriers at the top and guides at the bottom corners secure the remaining panels, enabling them to slide to the side for stacking, once the first panel has been opened. An alternative turn knob to each to each side of the glass giving access from both internally and externally or even a key locking block available if required for additional security.

SF35 A high level of security is provided as standard, with an effortless, quick, smooth and easy operation. It consists of a two-point top and bottom shoot bolt mechanism, which is incorporated into the framework, operated by an internal and/or external flush handle. The shoot bolt rods are manufactured in aluminium and linked by a corrosion resistant cam. In addition, they are capped with polyamide cones that prevent any damage to the tracks when locking, whilst compressing the panels tight against the top and bottom seals. A five-lever Euro profile cylinder key lock can also be added if required.

Weather stripping

With minimum distance between glass panels, weather stripping, flexible wall connection gasket seals, twin PVC brush piles and plastic end caps to the top and bottom profiles, this ensures effective weatherproofing.

Should a full weather seal be required, the SF30 & SF35 will provide minimal framework which is clamped vertically on the side of the glass with compression bubble gaskets seals.

The unique clever design of the system means the frame incorporates internal drainage, which transports any condensation to the external face drain when using the standard low threshold track. A special groove integrated to the outside face of the bottom rail profile, enables the addition of an external sill.

Operating system

The running mechanism consists of double horizontal stainless steel polyamide coated wheels with maintenance free sealed ball bearings providing continued quiet, quick and easy, smooth operation and a long life.

An adjustable head section caters for discrepancies, allowing installation in openings that may not be level, up to 16mm.

The SF25, SF30 & SF35 system can be complimented by the SF45 system, enabling a complete solution to any room from tilt and turn windows, fixed glazing to folding sliding doors.
