To compliment our range of high performance folding sliding and sliding doors Park Farm Design also offer bespoke timber windows and doors manufactured to the same high standards and quality. Produced in the same Scandinavian factory as our Lift & Slide door our product range includes the Top Swing, Side Swing, Side Hung, Fixed, Balcony Door and Entrance Door many of which use the "H" window technology.

Park Farm Design also work closely with a local joinery company, with over 20 years experience in manufacturing traditional and conservation windows and doors.  This more cost effect range is available with the same specification options as our Scandinavian products.  Frames can even be supplied to match the section styles of our folding and sliding door systems.  Frames are typically supplied fully finished and glazed ready for installation.

All windows and doors are available with a variety of design options including mullion, transoms, glazing bars and cill extensions etc. 

About The "H" window

The first prototype of the H Window was developed by Harald Kvasnes, inventor of the Spilka fully reversible projecting hinge, in Aalesund, Norway, in 1959. The idea was to have a window with a sash that would fully reverse without projecting inside the room, allowing window treatments to remain undisturbed, when cleaning the window.

Quickly becoming the market leader almost every window in Norway found itself housing the "H" window technology and in 1999 the Spilka projecting hinge celebrated its 40 Anniversary with over 14 million pairs of hinges on H Windows and other windows in 12 different countries throughout the world.
