STANDARD TIMBER FINISHES
The natural character of wood is perfectly preserved by using Sikkens micro-porous water based wood stains (i.e. they contain no harmful solvents) in a variety of stain colours. Or alternatively the timber can be paint finished to any RAL colour (over 201 RAL colours available) or different colours or wood stain to the inside and outside.
As standard, SUNFLEX timber door systems are fully finished, which consists of one basecoat and two topcoats; other finishes are available upon request. Each section is individually dip treated, ensuring equal coverage over all surfaces, protecting the timber against rotting and water penetration. The pigmentation in the treatment protects the timber against ultra violet rays and discoloration. All handles are specially designed to complement the door system; standard colours are Standard Brown C34, White RAL 9016 or Aluminium RAL 9006. Gasket colour available in Brown, Black or White, with hinges mounted within seal sightline available in brown or white.
The SF80 (SF55c), with its external aluminium cladding is available finished to any special RAL colour (over 201 RAL colours available) in addition you can specify the level of paint finish. All handles and hinges are specially designed to complement the door system and available in any RAL colour, with internal gaskets available in black, brown or white and external gasket weather seals in black only.
Please note that due to the variation of the grain in timber, all colour samples are designed only to give an indication of the shade and may not match the finished product.
STANDARD ALUMINIUM FINISHES
SUNFLEX standard finishes are Silver anodised EV1 or polyester powder coated to White RAL 9016, Aluminium RAL 9006, Grey Aluminium RAL 9007 and Anthracite Grey RAL 7016.
SF45 & SF70 - All handles are specially designed to complement the door system; standard colours are Black RAL 9011, White RAL 9016 or Aluminim RAL 9006 . SF50, SF55 & SF75 - Single doors with either Latch lock with Horizontal Stainless Steel Lever Handles or Shootbolt lock with Vertical Lever or Flush handle coloured to match the frame, Aluminium RAL 9006 or Black RAL 9011. Intermediate or first bi-folding section with flush handles coloured to match the frame or Aluminium RAL 9006 or Black RAL 9011. Gaskets are in Black, with hinges mounted within seal sightline available in black or white. A Marine environment finish that is required to all systems within 5000m of a shoreline is also available.
Other RAL colours (over 201 colours available). Even different colours to the inside and outside (dual colour) or different wood grain effects are available for a nominal charge. These can even be applied to the handles and hinges if required. In addition you can specify whether a matt, semi gloss or gloss level of paint finish is required.
